What it is
The Sunpura S4800 AC is the 4.8 kWh AC-coupled model in the Sunpura range. Instead of connecting panels directly, it couples onto an existing solar and inverter system over AC, so there is no rewiring of the array, and it adds enough storage to carry a typical home through the evening.
Available 2027
The S4800 AC is not part of the initial South African range. It is expected in South Africa in 2027, and its dedicated AC-coupled datasheet has not been issued yet, so we publish no specifications, figures or documents for it until they exist.
