What it is
The Sunpura N079 is a standalone, carry-anywhere power station: a 2,048 Wh LiFePO4 battery with a 2,400 W inverter and 13 output ports built in. Nothing to install and nothing to wire. It is a different product from the all-in-one home batteries, made for backup, work sites, camping and anywhere you need mains power without a mains socket.
Power where you need it
The 2,400 W rated output is shared across three AC outlets, so it runs a fridge, a laptop and a drill at the same time, and the two 100 W USB-C ports charge modern laptops directly. In UPS mode the N079 sits between the wall and your equipment and takes over in under 10 milliseconds when the grid drops, fast enough that a router, PC or fridge does not notice. Recharge in about 2.2 hours from a wall socket at 1,100 W, from the car on the move, or from solar panels through the MPPT input.
Where it fits
For whole-home storage that cuts the bill every day and grows with your needs, the S2400 and S4800 all-in-one home batteries are the better fit. The N079 is for mobile power and lighter, plug-in backup. Not sure which suits you? Ask us and we will point you to the right unit.
Certification
The N079 carries European and international certification (CE/EMC, RED, LVD, CB, RoHS, REACH, UN38.3, IP20, WEEE and more). We publish this as CE and CB certification, and we claim no South African approval. Specifications above are from the South African edition datasheet, revision 202609 V2.
