The South African edition sheets (revision 202609 V2) are final on their specification tables; the manufacturer is still correcting covers and typos, so the PDF files will be refreshed when the next revision lands. Models marked "Available 2027" have no South African edition datasheet yet, and we publish no specifications for them until they do. Need a manual, certificate or a specific document? European and international certification
Sunpura units carry the following certifications and markings. Present them as CE and CB certification, not as South African approval.
What we do and do not claim
Sunpura publishes CE and CB certification for these units and claims no South African approval. CB is the IEC-based scheme, so CB is the accurate term rather than IEC, and there is no standalone IEC mark on any of these sheets. The S2400 and S4800 are rated IP44 in their South African edition, for indoor or sheltered outdoor installation. The systems are configured for zero export: surplus is stored in the battery and nothing is fed back into the grid, and we make no feed-in claim. If a specification, tender or municipality requires South African approval for a given installation, ask us and we will tell you exactly where we stand rather than leave you to assume it.
