All-in-one home batteries

Store power.
Cut your bill.

Sunpura all-in-one batteries store solar and off-peak energy, keep your essentials running through outages, and put you back in control as tariffs keep climbing. One unit: inverter, battery and smart management built in, with solar connected directly on the hybrid models.

Sunpura is a brand of Novgen ESS. Distributed for Africa by JoJo Energy B.V.

Lower your bills

Store solar and cheaper off-peak power, then use it when tariffs are at their highest. Lean less on the grid as prices keep climbing.

02

Backup you can count on

Keep lights, Wi-Fi and essentials running when the grid drops. Real usable output, not a trickle.

03

All-in-one simplicity

Inverter, battery and management in one unit, with solar connected directly on the hybrid models. Fewer components, one warranty, a faster install.

Why storage, why now

The story is tariffs, not blackouts.

South African electricity keeps getting more expensive. NERSA approved an 8.76% Eskom increase from April 2026, with municipal bulk tariffs rising about 9.01% from July 2026, and further increases already approved for 2027. What your municipality then charges households is approved separately, and it follows the same direction of travel. That is what makes storage pay back: store cheaper energy, use it at peak, and rely less on the grid. Backup during outages comes as a bonus.

Worked example: a home that shifts 4 kWh of evening use a day onto stored solar saves about R480 a month at R4.00 per kWh, before the next increase. See the maths.

The numbers

Engineered to scale.

S4800, stacks to 14.4 kWh
86.4 kWh

10 yr
warranty, S2400 and S4800

Figures are from the South African edition datasheets for the S2400 and S4800. Stacked means one system with extra battery modules. The 86.4 kWh is six S4800 units, each already stacked to its full 14.4 kWh, joined by the Sunpura parallel box, which is a separate product, and drawn across all three phases; most South African homes are single-phase, so ask us to size a multi-unit system before you plan around a number. Six base units give 14.4 kWh (S2400) or 28.8 kWh (S4800). The S4800 is rated 6,000 cycles. The N079 portable power station carries a two-year warranty. Larger models follow in 2027 and are not counted here.

All-in-one

One integrated unit, not a cupboard of components.

An all-in-one battery combines the inverter, battery and management in a single unit, with the solar MPPT built in on the hybrid models and solar coming in through a micro-inverter on the AC-coupled ones. For installers that means fewer parts, one warranty and a faster job. For homeowners it means a cleaner, simpler system.
