What it is
The Sunpura S2400 AC is the AC-coupled version of the S2400. It is made for homes that already have solar: instead of connecting panels directly, it couples onto your existing solar and inverter over AC, so there is no rewiring of the array. A dual-CT meter reads your existing inverter, giving the system a complete picture of what your home produces and uses.
Add storage to solar you already have
Thousands of South African homes installed rooftop solar without a battery. The S2400 AC is the simplest way to add 2.4 kWh of storage and backup to that setup: store surplus solar and cheaper off-peak power, and use it when tariffs are highest or when the grid drops.

We publish this as CE and CB certification, and we claim no South African approval. The specifications above are from the European edition datasheet; a South African edition has not been issued for this model.
